Story telling session at Oxford Book Store

Our very first outing at Oxford Book Store was a big hit with over 30 children participating in a scintillating story telling session by Ramya Narayanan.
The best part was the role play by each child using finger puppets as a part of a jungle story told by Ramya

Ongoing workshops -Theatre and Creative Writing

Theatre workshop is being conducted on Fridays and Saturdays between 5 PM to 6 .30 PM at the library by Ms Susan Desai. There are 12 sessions in all , for 8-12 year olds to overcome stage fear, build confidence and improve self expression.

A Creative Writing Workshop is being conducted on Thursdays from 5 PM to 6 PM . The 12 session workshop for 8 -14 year olds includes topics like essay writing , letter writing, speech writing , story and poetry writing, use of special creative writing techniques etc .

Drawing Competition at Books n More and Storytime at Oxford Books Store!

Calling all young artists to unleash their creativity with brush and paint!! The Drawing competition will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm on 25/2/2012  for 4-17 yr olds. Get your own colours. We'll give the paper and the topics. Regn Fee : Rs 100 /- . Great Prizes to be won!

Also , we are pleased to announce our tie up with Oxford Book Store , Raj Bhavan Road , where we will be conducting 1 activity every month . On 25/2 join us for a story telling session about the lovable Gajapathi Kulapathi and Panchatantra tales with puppets , role play , hands on activities and lots of fun!! Regn Fee : Rs100.This session is for 3-8 year olds from 5 PM to 6 :30 PM.
