Workshop : Ramanavami Special Craft Time - Make Golden Deer Hats  

                    with Ms Rajashri for 4-12 year olds.

Date and Time: 4'th April 2014. From 4:30-5:30 P.M

Workshop : Nama Ramayanam - Learn Rama songs like Nama Ramayanam ( the life story of Rama sung in song form); Paluke Bangaramayana and Banturithi kolu from Ms Bhuvana for children in the age group of 5-16 years .

Date and Time: April 4'th 2014. From 5:30-7:30 P.M 

Fee : Rs 150 per child 

Workshop : Storytime Yoga - fun yoga exercises with stories for young children by Ms Ramya for 3-8 year olds

Workshop: Mind Gym- Word Games to build vocabulary with Mr J Ramesh for ages 8-16 years

Weekend Workshops at Books n More: Sambalpuri Dance Workshop ;Ugadi Subhakankshalu -Navadanya Rangoli craft class; Traditional songs and storytime

The following workshops are being held at Books n More this weekend:

Workshop : Sambalpuri Dance Workshop - Children in the age group of 7-14 years can participate in this week long workshop with folk dance exponent Ms Archana Misra in this workshop in the Rangbati style.The participants will be staging a short dance performance at the end of the workshop .Venue to be specified later.

Workshop : Ugadi Special - Navadanya Rangoli making workshop with Ms Divya for 4-16 year olds.Learn to make a traditional colourful rangoli with the nine auspicious grains this Ugadi

Workshop : Ugadi Subhakankshalu - Learn traditional songs of Ugadi like Nandana Ugadi;Yuga Ugadi Kaledaru etc and hear traditional Telugu and Kannada folklore on the occasion of New Year . Songs by Ms Revathy ; Folklore by Ms Sujatha .Children to come in traditional clothes .

Workshops this weekend: Doll Party and Pottery Classes

We are holding the following workshops this weekend :

Workshop: Doll Party-Bring your doll and make a dress for her in this fun filled tea party for your little girl/boy and his/her doll/teddy bear. This class is for children in the age group of 4-8 years .

Fee : Rs 150 per child(inclusive of materials -Children have to bring the doll/teddy bear)

Workshop:Pottery and Clay Modelling weekend workshop with Mr VC Harish for children in the age group of 4-16 years . This workshop will build hand eye coordination, motor skills and creativity in children.

Workshop: Smart Speaker-A comprehensive communication skills workshop for ages 8-16 years with Ms Gurpreet Ghosh.Work on diction,voice training , public speaking etc in this fortnight long workshop.The children will be given a chance to speak on stage during a special performance .

The following events are lined up this week at Books n More :

1.Workshop: Production Oriented Theatre Workshop for 4-10 year olds . Children will be staging "Chitti Chitti Bang Bang " at a reputed venue .This workshop is being conducted by Ms Anuradha Vinod. It covers aspects such as building stage presence, losing stage fear , talking clearly on the microphone ; dialogue delivery ;timing and good body language development. This workshop is a very fun filled and engaging way to teach Communication skills for young children

2.Workshop: Holi Card Making using Splatter painting and wax resist technique for children in the age of 4-14 years with Ms Rajashri

1.Special Session : Women's Day special makeover session covering makeup and hair styles  for women above the age of 16 years is being held by Sonal C on Women's Day
Date and Time: 8'th March 2014. From 11 A.M to 1 P.M.
Fee : Rs. 250 per participant (includes all materials )


2.Workshop : Mind Gym - Sudoku Blaster session is being conducted by J.Ramesh for children in the age group of 8-16 years .Learn to solve all three levels of Sudoku in this challenging workshop.

3.Craft Workshop : Satin Flower Making workshop is being conducted for all above 8 years including adults by Ms Veena Jain .Two different types of flowers will be taught.
