Summer Camp 2012 at Books n More!

A host of fun filled activities are planned  this summer at our summer camp in Hyderabad  for children in the age group of 3-12  years.

Duration for the summer camp : April 15'th to June2'nd- 7 weeks (Monday- Saturday ) of fun and learning . Admissions can be opted for on a weekly basis also or  for the whole duration or any part of it.

Batches :
Level 1- Age group 3-7 years
Level 2- Age group 8-12 years

Activities Planned :

Level 1 (3-7 years ):

Part A- Learn!
1. Early numeracy games and math activities
2. Phonics games , songs and puzzles
3. Science experiments
4. The world around us – General knowledge
5.Guided Readathons

Part B- Express!
1.Theatre -games, role play etc
2.Show and tell
3.English Conversation skills
4.Confidence Building and Team Building games
5.Recitation and Public speaking

Part C- Have Fun!
1.Art and Craft
2.Music
3.Creative thinking activities and games
4.Storytime
5.Yoga

Everyone of the above activities will be conducted atleast once in a week

Level 2 (8-12 years)   

Part A- Learn!
1.Math Puzzles ,Jigsaws and games
2.Vocabulary Development activities
3.Creative Writing
4. Science experiments
5. The world around us – General knowledge
6.Guided Readathons

Part B- Express!
1.Theatre
2.English Conversation skills
3.Confidence Building and Team Building games
4.Public Speaking and Debating
5.Extempore and Group Discussion skills

Part C- Have Fun!
1.Art and Craft
2.Music
3.Creative thinking activities and games
4.Yoga
5.Drawing and Sketching

Timings: 10:00 A.M to 12.30 P.M. Everyday from Monday to Saturday.
Fees: Rs 600 per week / Rs 2000 for 4 weeks / Rs 3500 for 7 weeks .

Have fun,Learn!

Books n More is hosting it's first activity workshop series titled "Have Fun,Learn!" tomorrow.
It will be a weekly activity on Friday evenings . The first week is for vocabulary development through word mazes, "What's the good word" and Scrabble. The second week is for building math skills through games like puzzle sum ,math rummy ,sudoku and math puzzles . The third week every month is for games of strategy - we're starting with chess. The fourth week every month is for games involving logical thinking and brain teasers .
