Event: Sand Painting Workshop. An intensive 3 Day workshop to make portraits out of sand for ages 8-Adult.
Date and Time: 28/12/12-30/12/12 - 6 P.M onwards

Event: Seed Craft- Make a ship using seed collage craft . For Ages3-8 years .
Date and Time:28/12/2012-5 P.M TO 6 P.M

Event: Homonyms Game in Mind Gym -Juniors for 5-9 year olds
Date and Time:28/12/2012 -6 P.M to 7:00 P.M

 

This weekend and year end activities- Christmas Camp , Mind Gym, Craft time and more!

This weekend we have two activities lined up on Friday- 21/12/2012 :
1. MIND GYM- is being introduced for the age group of 5-9 years . Classes will be held every Friday from 6-7 P.M . Mind Gym will focus on building the following skills :

• Vocabulary development
• Math skill building
• Logical thinking skills 
• Creative thinking 

We'll be using a mix of indoor and outdoor activities in the teaching methodology.
This week the main activity of the day is a multiplication game in the garden and a fun deduction based quiz .

2. In Craft time, the children will be making a snowman . A fun story and song is also being planned keeping in mind the spirit of the season.

The Christmas CAMP !!

The Christmas camp is back this year from 24/12/2012 to 29/12/2012 . Timings- 10:30 A.M to 12:30 P.M . The schedule is as follows:

1. 24/12/2012- Christmas Pageant - a theatre session on the Christmas story .
2. 25/12/2012-Christmas Carnival- fun, games, carols, presents !
3. 26/12/2012-Be a VJ!- Anchor your own show and present in to your friends.
4. 27/12/2012- Green thumb- A gardening workshop for our green thumbed little elves. Take home a sapling and plant your own garden patch.
5. 28/12/2012-Young  Picasso- A painting workshop to unleash your creativity
6. 29/12/2012- Lil' Chef- A fireless cooking workshop- theme "Fun Foods of India"

The fee for the camp is Rs 900 for the whole duration of 6 days or Rs 200 per day.

An all new craft workshop this weekend

Our dynamic crafts expert Shailaja has come up with an all new craft concept this weekend - Stocking Craft . She uses colourful stockings to make interesting coasters, wall hangings etc . She uses the techniques of punch craft for creating lovely embellishments . This workshop is on 24/11/12 from 6 P.M onwards.This workshop is for ages 7- adult.

We also have a storytelling session with fingerpainting on 24/11/12 from 5 P.M onwards for the 2-8 year age group

Diwali Workshops and more!

The following are the activities starting this week:

1. Chess - New Batch for young children in the age group of 5-7 years is starting on 7/11/2012.The classes will be held every Wednesday from 5 P.M to 7 P.M

2. SCRABBLE- New Batch is starting on 8/11/2012 for 7-14 year olds. The classes will be held every Thursday from 6:15 P.M to 7:15 P.M

WEEKEND WORKSHOPS:

1. Diya Decoration Workshop on 9/11/2012 from 5 P.M onwards for 4-14 year olds
2. Diwali Ramleela Story telling with Puppets on 10/11/2012 from 5 P.M onwards for 3-8 year olds 
3. Science Workshop - Force and Motion . Learn to Build a Force Measurement tool and work with Inclined Planes. For 8-14 year olds. From 6:00 P.M to 7:30 P.M
4. Yajilim - A logical thinking Puzzle will be held as a part of MIND GYM on 9/11/2012 from 6:00 -7:30 P.M .

We've moved!

We've moved in to our new location at Plot no 292, Street No 2, West Marredpally . We're officially open today !

We are shifting!

It's bigger . It's better. Lots of space,sunlight , an open yard and a lovely porch had me sold to move locations!
We're now moving to Plot  No 292, Street No 2,West Marredpally.
The library and activity center will open at the new premises from 31/10/2012 .
Our timings continue to remain the same: Monday-Saturday-10:30 A.M -7:30 P.M
                                                              Sunday-10:30 A.M to 6:30 P.M
The directions to the new place is attached here .

We'll be closed on 29/10 and 30/10 to facilitate the shift .

1. Handwriting Improvement Course ( every Monday,Wednesday and Friday )- 5:30-6:30 P.M - 15 session program

2. Speak Well - a Communication skills course for 5-9 year olds focussing on recitation , elocution and personality development (every Monday,Wednesday and Friday )- 6:30-7:30 P.M - 15 session program

Weekend Activities

1. Tile Painting - Make an Aquarium on Tile - for 3-8 year olds as a part of our Toddler Art Program . On 12/10/2012 from 5 P.M to 6 P.M

2. What's the Good Word? - a vocabulary building game as a part of our Mind Gym Program- On 12/10/2012 from 6 P.M to 7:30 P.M

3.Chocolate Making Class for young children (3-9 yrs ) - Learn to make yummy moulded chocolates and a decadent chocolate dessert. Wrap and take home your goodies.On 13/10/2012 from 5 P.M to 6 :15 P.M.( It's a Fireless and child friendly workshop )


4. Science Workshop- Build simple first, second and third order machines. Learn how force works - for 8-14 year olds. On 13/10/2012 -6 P.M to 7 :30 P.M

5.Flower Making Workshop - Learn to make attractive paper flowers . On 14/10/2012 -for ages 8+ to adult - 4 P.M -7 P.M
